Southern California real estate cooled second half of 2005
During the 2nd half of 2005, Southern California real estate definitely cooled, and in December sales dropped more than 4 percent. While the median price of homes in the 6 county Southern California real estate market continue to climb, the rate of appreciation is slowing.
